Expecting?

Congratulations!
Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in your life. Nothing is more rewarding than the privilege of caring for this new life and providing an environment in which both you and your child will thrive and develop. Choosing the pediatrician that can best care for your child is an important decision. At White Oak Pediatric Associates, we share your joy and enthusiasm and look forward to the opportunity in partnering with you on the exciting journey of raising a child.

Getting Acquainted
Please feel free to call our office if you have additional questions about us. Or, if you prefer, call today to sign up for a complimentary prenatal "meet and greet" session. The meet and greet consists of an office tour and an opportunity to get questions answered by administrative and clinical staff. Typically a doctor and our lactation nurse April will join if available.

Upon Arrival
When your baby is born at an affiliated hospital, simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen White Oak Pediatric Associates as your child's pediatrician. Our office will be notified of your baby's birth by the hospital staff. Upon discharge, please contact our office about scheduling your baby's first visit to our office.

What to bring to your first visit

We work hard to ensure that your child receives prompt medical care in a comfortable, child-friendly office setting. To help expedite the first appointment, we ask that you please bring your child's immunization records and be prepared to complete paperwork regarding your family medical history, your child's medical history, and insurance card.

What to Expect

On the day of your child's first visit to our office, we recommend arriving twenty minutes early. This allows extra time for finishing up any registration forms and ensures you have plenty of time to get acquainted with our staff and office. We look forward to meeting you and joining with you to help your child maintain optimal health.
